Leh-Ladakh is India's ultimate high-altitude adventure destination — a stark, otherworldly landscape of Himalayan passes, turquoise lakes and centuries-old Buddhist monasteries perched above 3,500 metres.

This 6N/7D itinerary is built for adventure seekers: acclimatize in Leh, cross some of the world's highest motorable passes to reach the mesmerising Pangong Tso and the dramatic Nubra Valley with its sand dunes and double-humped camels, all while soaking in monastery culture along the way.

Because of the extreme altitude, this trip is paced deliberately with rest days for acclimatization, making it accessible to fit travellers even without prior high-altitude experience, provided health guidelines are followed.

Mid-May to September is the only window when Leh-Ladakh's high passes are reliably open, with June-July being peak season. July-August sees the Hemis Festival. Roads are snowbound and largely inaccessible by land from October to April.

Q. Is altitude sickness a serious concern?

Yes, Leh sits at 3,500m; we build in a mandatory rest day and recommend consulting a doctor about Diamox before travel, staying hydrated, and avoiding alcohol on Day 1.

Q. How do we reach Leh?

By flight to Leh (Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport) from Delhi, or via a multi-day road trip from Manali/Srinagar (not included in this package).

Q. Are permits required for Pangong and Nubra?

Yes, Inner Line Permits are mandatory and arranged by us as part of the package.

Q. Is this trip suitable for elderly travellers?

It can be physically demanding due to altitude; we recommend a medical check-up beforehand and can customize a gentler pace on request.

Q. What's the road like to Pangong/Nubra?

Scenic but long and bumpy in places, crossing high passes like Khardung La and Chang La; travel days can be 5-7 hours.

Q. Can we do river rafting or biking here?

Yes, these are offered as optional paid add-ons in Leh, not included in the base package.

Terms & Conditions

1.Package rates are per person on twin-sharing; camp/hotel category impacts final pricing.

2.A mandatory acclimatization day in Leh is built into the itinerary before any high-altitude travel; this cannot be skipped for safety.

3.Inner Line Permits are arranged by us but require original ID copies at least 1 day in advance.

4.Road conditions to Pangong/Nubra depend on weather and BRO (Border Roads Organisation) clearance; routes may be altered at short notice.

5.Travellers with cardiac, respiratory or severe medical conditions must consult a doctor before booking due to high-altitude risk.

6.Fuel stations are limited en route; all vehicles carry backup fuel as standard practice.

Cancellation Policy

•30+ days before departure: 15% deduction.

•15-29 days before departure: 30% deduction.

•7-14 days before departure: 50% deduction.

•Less than 7 days / no-show: 100% non-refundable.

•Trip curtailment due to road closure (landslide/snow) is not refundable but alternate sightseeing will be arranged where possible.
